Tillis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Tillis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu operates at 14208 Mulberry Drive in Whittier, California. The academy delivers training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling, wrestling, and mixed martial arts for practitioners of all experience levels. Classes accommodate adults, youth, and competitive combat sports athletes. The academy was founded by owner and head instructor Professor Noah Tillis, a Whittier native who began studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at age eight. Tillis trained under Rodrigo Mederios in the Carlson Gracie lineage and earned his black belt under John Ouano and John Ramirez in 2012, competing in the IBJJF Pan-American championships and fighting professionally in Bellator MMA. The staff also includes Coach Anthony, Coach David, and Coach Rich. Training programs feature gi technique, fast-paced no-gi submission grappling, wrestling takedown mechanics, and MMA striking drills.
