Tri City Aikido Martial Arts is a traditional Japanese martial arts dojo located at 37427 Fremont Blvd in Fremont, California. The dojo has provided traditional Aikido instruction to the Fremont community since 1996. Instruction is conducted under chief instructor Anthony Campagna Sensei, a 5th Dan Aikikai black belt representing the instructional lineage of Mitsuo Tasaka Shihan. The curriculum teaches traditional non-competitive Aikido, focusing on off-balancing mechanics, blending with opponent momentum, joint locks, and dynamic throwing techniques. Programs are organized for adults as well as children ages 4 to 6, ages 7 to 9, and ages 10 to 13, incorporating traditional bokken wooden sword and jo staff weapons practice. Adult classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, alongside Saturday sessions from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with youth classes held weekday late afternoons. Prospective practitioners can contact the dojo by phone to arrange a complimentary trial class.
