True Believer Jiu-Jitsu provides martial arts education and submission grappling instruction at 997 West View Park Drive in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2015, the academy operates Monday through Saturday, serving practitioners throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding communities. The school was founded by head coach Jacob "Jake" Miclot, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who directs daily class curriculum. In 2025, True Believer Jiu-Jitsu partnered as an official affiliate of TAC Team, also known as the Thursday Afternoon Crew, connecting students to a broader competitive network and team training environment. Coursework encompasses adult gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu across introductory and all-levels divisions, no-gi submission grappling, advanced competition training, and wrestling. Specialty offerings include women's BJJ, teens training, and kids classes. Prospective practitioners can begin training with a complimentary introductory class.
