UA Jiu Jitsu operates at 3035 Indianola Ave. in Columbus, Ohio. Founded when three Gracie black belts joined together in 2011 to open a unique school in Columbus, Ohio, the academy is situated north of OSU in Clintonville. The school functions as a cooperative training community providing Gracie UA - Self defense Jiu Jitsu for all ages. Training on the mats includes sessions led by black belt instructors such as Tony Zara and Dave Tabron alongside coaches Matt Rigney and Ryan Mcclure. The curriculum emphasizes mixed level basics where adult practitioners across different skill backgrounds train together in general Mixed Levels classes. Weekly programming features evening and morning training times as well as open mats.
