United Jiu Jitsu provides martial arts education and combat fitness at 2055 White Bear Avenue, Suite 100, in Maplewood, Minnesota. The academy offers structured programs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and American Taekwondo for students ages 3 and older. The facility is owned and directed by head instructor Stan Riser, a first-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and fifth-degree American Taekwondo black belt. Riser brings over two decades of martial arts training background and more than a decade of coaching experience, having competed across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and sport karate. Instructional options include youth PUPs and junior classes, adult gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technical and threads sessions, no-gi submission grappling, sport BJJ, Muay Thai, and stand-up kickboxing. Training emphasizes positional control, escapes, takedowns, defensive awareness, and full-body conditioning. Prospective students can begin training by participating in a complimentary introductory class.
