USA Kungfu Studio

USA Kungfu Studio operates at 3235 Castro Valley Boulevard in Castro Valley, California, with an additional school in Alameda. The academy was founded by Master Sam (Zhen Deng), who trained under Emei Grandmaster Peilian Zhang, competed on the Sichuan professional wushu team, became 1988 Warrior Cup National Champion in Staff and Mantis, earned the Wu Ying martial arts rank in China, and performed stunt work on major motion pictures. Instruction in Castro Valley is directed by Master Yang, an international wushu champion and martial arts author. The curriculum delivers traditional Chinese martial arts instruction across distinct age and skill divisions. Programs include Little Tiger Kung Fu for young children, Children Kung Fu, Teens and Adults Kung Fu, and Tai Chi. Classes focus on traditional empty-hand forms, Northern and Southern styles, staff techniques, flexibility, acrobatic kicks, and practical self-defense. Training develops physical coordination, mental discipline, flexibility, and martial arts etiquette in a family-oriented studio environment.
