V1SION Jiu Jitsu (Checkmat)

V1SION Jiu Jitsu Academy is located in the heart of Ladera Ranch, California. Affiliated with Checkmat and the IBJJF, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai training for adults, kids, and competitors within a focused, no-ego mat environment. The coaching team includes third-degree black belt Professor Marcelo "Captain" Capociama, Professor Joao Capociama, Coach Annie Capociama, and brown belt Coach Allan Aguilera. Instructors emphasize training with intention and growing with structure, helping students develop technique, fitness, and self-confidence on the mats. Class programming features fundamentals classes, open mat sessions, and competition training running multiple times weekly.
