Valor Martial Arts delivers combat sports training and martial arts education at 1836 South Woodlawn in Wichita, Kansas. The facility conducts structured morning and evening classes for men, women, and children across the greater Wichita metropolitan area. Head instructor and gym manager Marcio Navarro is a Zenith BJJ black belt, a professional kickboxing world champion, and an ISKA World Kickboxing Champion who also holds instructor status in Capoeira. The coaching staff features head boxing coach Charles Ellis, a four-time Golden Gloves champion who concluded his professional boxing career by defeating James Toney in 2015. Instruction is further supported by BJJ black belts Nathan Carroll and Donavon Grotts, head judo coach Dan Morgan, and women's program instructor Jen Hubener. Coursework includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling, boxing, kickboxing, judo, Capoeira, and mixed martial arts, alongside kids BJJ starting at age 5. The academy is also an accredited affiliate partner supporting combat veterans.
