Vermont Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates from its independent academy at 55 Leroy Road in Williston, Vermont. The academy has received multiple Seven Daysies Awards for Best Martial Arts Studio, delivering structured Brazilian jiu-jitsu and self-defense instruction for adult and youth students in the Williston area. Founder and head instructor Julio Cesar 'Foca' Fernandez Nunes is a seventh-degree coral belt under the late Grand Master Carlson Gracie Sr. A former five-time Brazilian national champion, three-time Rio de Janeiro state champion, and two-time IBJJF world champion, Fernandez co-founded the BJJ Revolution Team and co-authored Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Experts Only alongside Carlson Gracie. Instructional offerings include fundamentals, advanced grappling, youth classes dividing young students into Ninjas for ages 4 to 6, Big Ninjas for ages 7 to 9, and Top Guns for ages 10 to 15, alongside modern boxing instruction led by Felipe Fernandez. The school maintains certification through the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, United States Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and Confederação Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu Profissional.
