VHW Club

VHW Club, also known as Vougar's Honors Wrestling Club, is a combat grappling training academy located at 235 Robbins Lane in Syosset, New York. The club was established in 2006 to provide technical coaching for student wrestlers preparing for scholastic competition and championship tournaments. Instruction is directed by coach Vougar Oroudjov, focusing on Russian-style wrestling methodology. Training sessions emphasize technical mastery of fundamental wrestling skills, including high-percentage leg attack takedowns such as single leg and double leg entries, defensive counters, mat riding, breakdowns, and pinning combinations. In addition to physical technique and athletic conditioning, the curriculum places strong importance on academic discipline and mental toughness.
