VTT Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA operates in Sarasota, Florida. Head instructor Antonio Carlos Mendes Lima, known as Caca Lima, was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1972 and began training jiu-jitsu in 1989. He earned his black belt in 2001, has graduated over 200 black belts, and holds a 6th-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu alongside a black belt in Muay Thai. Lima is a two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion with more than 20 MMA fights, representing the Chute Boxe lineage. The academy provides training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, and seasonal summer camps. Prospective students can sign up online for a trial class.
