WARRIOR / Tandez Academy of Martial Arts operates at 1931 Old Middlefield Way in Mountain View, California. Established in 2005, the academy was founded and is directed by Guro Adrian Tandez, a certified instructor with over twenty-nine years of experience who trained extensively under martial artist Dan Inosanto and Paul Vunak. The curriculum delivers multi-disciplinary combat arts instruction centered on Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali Escrima, Muay Thai kickboxing, western boxing, and Silat. Adult classes emphasize biomechanical efficiency, tactical range management, empty-hand striking, and weapon defense using single and double sticks. Training develops practical self-defense responses against real-world threats. Youth classes feature the Junior Warriors program, blending Jeet Kune Do and Kali Escrima to cultivate coordination, focus, spatial awareness, and positive character habits in young practitioners.
