Worcester Martial Arts Academy is located at 333 Shrewsbury St in Worcester, Massachusetts. The dojo delivers instruction across Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, Miyama Ryu Jiu-Jitsu, and women kickboxing for youth and adult students in the Worcester community. The academy is owned and directed by head coach Luis Soto. The coaching staff features BJJ and MMA head coach Gabriel Gonzaga, a veteran combat sports fighter and world-level grappling champion. Judo coaching is provided by certified instructors Jermaine Adams, Rich Simmons, Lenny Valdez, and Marcus Silva, with Jon-Manuel Rose coaching Miyama Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and Evan Katsoudas instructing BJJ. Training focuses on standing throws, pins, joint submissions, chokeholds, and striking defense. Programs include Judo Wildcats for children alongside adult classes designed for beginners, hobbyists, and competitive combat athletes.
