Yasuragi Dojo

Yasuragi Dojo is a classical Japanese martial arts school located in Mahopac, New York. Established in 2000 as the Yasuragi Center, the school operates as a registered non-profit organization affiliated with the international Jinenkan martial arts organization. Instruction centers on classical martial systems including Jujutsu, Kobudo, Kosen Judo, and Kenjutsu sword and weaponry traditions. Training focuses on posture, body mechanics, balance disruption, joint locking, and historical weapon forms taught in a deliberate, disciplined atmosphere. Students study foundational footwork, weapon handling, and traditional martial principles. The dojo provides in-person classes, seasonal retreats, study groups, and comprehensive online training resources. New students can submit a membership application and begin an initial one-month trial program at no cost to experience the curriculum and instructional philosophy.
