Zoo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - West Seattle operates at 5432 California Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98136. Bob Brown is the founder of Zoo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Seattle, having received his black belt in 2016 and holding an IBJJF certified 3rd Degree Black Belt. The academy provides introductory training through a scheduled free trial class for new practitioners. The instructional team features coach Chris Lum, who earned his black belt under Professor Bob Brown in 2023. Coaching staff also includes brown belt instructor Dini Pineda, youth instructor Lindsi Griggs who teaches youth jiu jitsu classes, and brown belt practitioner Shigeru Sasao. Training spans adult and youth divisions across gi and no gi disciplines. Programs emphasize fundamental movement, competition preparation, and skill development in grappling.
