Alexandre "Pulga" Pimentel leads Elite Force BJJ in Lighthouse Point, Florida, and teaches all of the academy's classes. Known simply as Pulga, he built his reputation as a competitor, and the academy credits him with winning nearly every major title in the sport over the course of his career. He also competed professionally in mixed martial arts. As a coach he is described as combining strong teaching skills with a knack for creating a fun training environment, working from the principle that people learn faster and more deeply when they are enjoying themselves.
