Andrezza Façanha Pinho Martins

Andrezza Façanha leads the family-run Andrezza Façanha Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Coral Springs, Florida, alongside her husband, Professor Edgar Estevez, and daughter, Coach Maria Martins. She is a two-time IBJJF World Champion and a multiple-time open tournament champion, holds a fourth-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and has trained and taught the art for more than 25 years. She has also trained and taught wrestling, judo and MMA. Outside the academy, Façanha is a physiotherapist specializing in traumatology, orthopedics and manual and sports rehabilitation, with a degree from Nilton Lins University in Manaus, Brazil. She is an advocate for women's self-defense and wants women to be equipped to protect themselves in any situation.
