Bruno "Jacaré" Dias is the director of martial arts and head coach at KAIZEN in Norwell, Massachusetts. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at twelve after being bullied as a child, and he now holds a third-degree black belt under Marco Barbosa. He is also a brown belt in judo with competition experience, and has trained and fought Muay Thai since 2008 with a 5-1 record. Dias has taught jiu-jitsu for twenty years and moved with his wife Herica to Hingham in 2017. His coaching record includes guiding a juvenile student to gi and no-gi world titles and three Kids' Pan Am championships, and he has promoted several of KAIZEN's instructors to black belt, including Casey LMonte in 2021 and Cassandra and Collin Smith in December 2022.
