Bryan M. Waltz

Bryan Waltz is the founder of Gracie Barra Colorado Springs, the first Gracie Barra academy in Colorado, which he co-owns with his wife, Professor Vanessa Waltz. He is a fourth-degree black belt under Professor Roberto "Tussa" Alencar and was awarded his black belt at Gracie Barra New Mexico in 2011. With more than 24 years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Waltz has spent the last 13 years building the Colorado Springs school, which has produced multiple champions in that time. His teaching centers on helping students transform their lives through jiu-jitsu, in an environment meant to be both supportive and challenging, with attention to technique, confidence and long-term development. He is a Gracie Barra certified instructor.
