Detailed Description
Carlos Farias, known to many of his students as Coach Carlos, is a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with nearly 20 years of teaching experience. After years of teaching at various mixed martial arts academies, he and the Farias Jiu Jitsu family opened their own academy in Mesa, Arizona in 2013. In addition to teaching full time, Farias remains an active competitor and holds several black belt ultra heavyweight titles. His students range in age from five to over sixty, and he aims to pass on the same dedication and sportsmanship he brings to competition.
