Charles Gracie is the head of the Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy network and the Charles Gracie Association, which this team belongs to. A senior member of the Gracie family of Jiu-Jitsu teachers and fighters, he provides instruction and personalised attention directly to students at his academies, which are located throughout greater Northern California and Nevada, including San Francisco, San Mateo, Daly City, Tracy, Modesto, Truckee and Reno. Gracie has instructed law enforcement officers, security professionals, members of the U.S. armed forces and air marshals as well as private citizens, and his academies emphasise a balance of sport Jiu-Jitsu and self-defence training. Through the Charles Gracie Association, affiliates receive a proven curriculum, certified rank achievement and worldwide training opportunities.
