Cicero Schiavini is the head coach at Grand River Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in downtown Galt, Cambridge. He has practised Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2003, earned his black belt in Brazil in 2013 and now holds the rank of third-degree black belt, registered with the IBJJF. He has more than ten years of experience as an instructor, including eight years as a team head coach, and previously taught at Beaches BJJ for over a year. He is a certified IBJJF referee and has officiated under the Gaucha Jiu Jitsu Federation and the Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association at several tournaments. He lives in Cambridge with his wife and daughter and works as a quality engineer alongside running the academy, which is affiliated with Cicero Costa Team and Gringo BJJ.
