Clayton Michael Lyon

Clayton Lyon is the head instructor and co-owner of Manasota Jiu Jitsu, which serves Brazilian Jiu Jitsu students in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and Sarasota. He teaches the majority of the academy's classes, including children's classes, adult gi and no-gi classes and fundamentals, and he also runs the day-to-day operations of the school. Lyon remains an active competitor in both gi and no-gi tournaments. He co-owns the academy with Travis Hart, and together they promoted Lisa Lyon, Manasota's first female black belt, on August 10, 2019. Lyon also leads the kids classes alongside Coach Chachi.
