Daniel Rego leads Dare Jiu-Jitsu in Homestead, Florida, as a sixth-degree black belt with more than 33 years of experience teaching and competing at the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He trained directly under Grand Master Flávio Behring and Professor Marcelo Behring, and the academy teaches in that Gracie and Behring lineage. His competition results include the 2024 IBJJF World Championship and Pan American titles in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The academy also describes him as a pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Spain, the author of instructional videos distributed internationally, and the first transplant recipient to win a world title.
