Darren McCall is the owner, lead instructor and head instructor of McCall Mixed Martial Arts in Humble, Texas, which he established in 2008 and which serves as the Brazilian Top Team representative school for Humble under Murilo Bustamante. McCall began grappling in 1994 with Judo and received his Judo black belt in 1999; he started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2000 and earned his BJJ black belt in 2007. The academy's instructor page lists him as a 5th degree black belt in BJJ under Murilo Bustamante and a 1st degree Judo black belt. McCall is married with six children, and he teaches alongside his wife Liz McCall, a 2nd degree black belt who leads the kids BJJ and MMA program.
