Diogo Primo is the head coach of Akxe BJJ Germany in Munich and a 4th dan black belt. He began Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2001 at the former Alliance Barra academy in Rio de Janeiro, now the headquarters of Akxe BJJ, and received his black belt in 2009 from Vinicius Campelo, a co-founder of Alliance Jiu-Jitsu and the founder of Akxe BJJ, together with Octavio Couto. His lineage connects directly to Rickson Gracie and Helio Gracie. In 2010 Primo moved to Munich to build the German branch of the Akxe school. He leads the team with the principles and competition-tested traditions he learned from his teachers in Rio, and his teaching is classically oriented, with a focus on discipline, respect and deep technical understanding.
