Detailed Description

Eric Ingram is the founder and co-owner of Pyramid Athletics in Bartlett, Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Memphis he worked as an accountant for several years while running a small jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai school on the side, having already built a long record of competitive accomplishments as a martial artist. When the kickboxing gym that hosted his classes went up for sale, he bought it, left his accounting job, and began teaching fitness kickboxing alongside his martial arts classes. The gym grew quickly enough to need a larger space around the corner, and Ingram added a CrossFit program to complement the striking and grappling. He later brought on his best friend Steven Combs as a co-owner to run the jiu-jitsu program. Members single him out as the person to learn jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai from.
