Professor Francisco "Kiko" France is the head instructor of Kiko France BJJ, a family-owned academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. Originally from Fortaleza, Brazil, he is a fifth-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and a former MMA World Champion who built his reputation as an accomplished MMA fighter before turning to full-time teaching. Under his leadership the academy offers programs for kids, teens, adults and women, including competition and no-gi classes, and serves families from Scottsdale, Phoenix, Chandler, Tempe and Mesa. His team's stated aim is to help students develop physically, mentally and emotionally, whether they train for competition or as casual students.
