Hernán Guadalupe is the academy owner and head jiu-jitsu instructor of Rollstar Jiu Jitsu Academy in Windsor Mill, Maryland. He holds a 1st degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, awarded in 2020 by Ataide Rafael, a 4th degree black belt and IBJJF No-Gi World Champion who remains his professor and longtime mentor and a part of Rollstar's lineage. Guadalupe began training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after relocating to Maryland in 2009. He has since built a coaching staff at Rollstar Maryland that includes the academy's judo coach, Fadlullah Firman, who has trained under him since 2009.
