Jason Ramey is co-owner of Franklin Jiu-Jitsu Club, which he runs with Scott Coxey, and teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu there as a black belt. He has more than ten years of experience in the sport, which he says became his main fitness and social focus once he started training. His competition results include two IBJJF Masters Worlds medals and championships at Tap Cancer Out Nashville, the Extreme Grappling Open in both gi and no-gi, the Hoosier Open and the Bloomington Open. Away from the mats, Ramey is captain of the Bargersville Fire Department and a U.S. Army veteran who served eight years in the National Guard.
