Jonatas Novaes is the instructor at Channel Islands BJJ. Born in Brazil, he has been teaching and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 29 years and has won multiple national and world titles. He is also a former professional MMA fighter with 18 professional bouts. He has stayed active throughout his career, fighting and teaching seminars around the world, and is now a US citizen who continues to pass on traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to his students and to anyone interested in learning the art.
