Jorge Santiago is the founder and head coach of Xcell BJJ in Boynton Beach, Florida. A fifth-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who also holds a black belt in judo, he has 31 years of martial arts experience and is a veteran of the UFC and Strikeforce, having trained, competed and coached at the highest levels of BJJ and professional MMA. Santiago built Xcell on the idea that high-level knowledge should make training safer, clearer and more accessible rather than more intimidating, and the academy says his experience shapes the structure and discipline of every class rather than serving as a selling point.
