Detailed Description
Tiago Barros is the adult head coach at SOJIUJITSU. A light featherweight (pluma, around 64kg), he is described by the academy as one of the top competitors of his generation in that division, with podium finishes at six Brazilian Nationals, one European Open, four World Championships and three UAEJJ Pro events. Barros stood out in a weight class dominated by guard players for his strength as a guard passer, built around a controlled, pressure-based style. He is also the coach who awarded a black belt to Gustavo Donato, who now leads the academy's kids program.
