Detailed Description

Kevin Wind is the instructor and professor at Wind Jiu-Jitsu in Massapequa, New York, an official affiliate of Kioto Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Grand Master Francisco Mansor. The academy's site lists him as a third-degree black belt, and the Wind Jiu-Jitsu team has trained under Mansor since his arrival in the United States in 1998 and has been certified as Kioto system instructors since 2003. Wind is also a member of the NYPD, serving as a lieutenant; the department appointed him to coordinate a free self-defense seminar that he and his students conducted in Chinatown. He has also fought in an NYPD smoker match at Madison Square Garden.
