Kurt Pellegrino owns and operates Pellegrino Mixed Martial Arts, the Jersey Shore training center he has run since 2008, where classes are curated under his supervision together with his team of coaches. He is a UFC, Bellator, and ADCC veteran with 14 fights in the UFC, a 7-5 UFC record, and five Fight of the Night awards plus a Submission of the Night. Pellegrino holds an IBJJF-certified 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Marcelo Garcia. His grappling results include Pan American gold in gi and in no-gi at black belt, three New York Open gold medals, an Arnold Classic Open title, an unbeaten 13-0 run in Grapplers Quest super fights, and a Fight to Win victory by submission. Before jiu-jitsu he wrestled, reaching two New Jersey state finals and later earning induction into the Point Pleasant Borough wrestling and Region Six halls of fame.
