Leandro Castroviejo is the lead instructor and owner of Castroviejo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. He has more than 20 years of experience in BJJ and has won over 50 medals competing at the highest levels. After six years as part of the Charles Gracie network of academies, he set out on his own in October 2024 to open his own school. He remains an active competitor while running the academy. He took silver in the Master 5 Ultra Heavy division at the IBJJF Pan Ams, and at the IBJJF Santa Cruz International Open he has won double gold, taking his weight division and then the open weight division.
