Leonel Leandro Correa Marra

Leonel Marra is the head instructor of Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Fort Worth and a 4th degree black belt under Xande Ribeiro. He moved from Brasília, Brazil's capital, to Fort Worth and founded Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu North Texas in 2019, which became Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu Fort Worth in 2020; the school also operates under the Team Marra name as a Six Blades affiliate. He has trained and competed for more than 20 years and taught kids, adults, and competition classes in Brazil since 2003. Marra is a professional athlete registered with the IBJJF, competing actively in the medium-heavy Master 2 division with several titles, and he is known for his deep half guard, which he teaches on BJJ Library. He is also an IBJJF referee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, earned on a scholarship offered because of his jiu-jitsu, with post-graduate study in physiology and kinesiology.
