Lucas Lepri founded Lucas Lepri Jiu Jitsu Academy and serves as its owner and head professor across the Charlotte and Fort Mill locations. He is a nine-time world champion at black belt and an IBJJF Hall of Fame athlete who has won every major tournament in the sport. Born in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Lepri moved to the United States in 2009 to instruct at Alliance New York City; after three years there he spent two years teaching at the Alliance US headquarters in Atlanta with Romero "Jacaré" Cavalcanti. Students have relocated from around the country to train with him full time, and his coaching has produced many World, Pan and European medalists, including academy instructor Andre Gois, a black belt under Lepri.
