Lucas Araújo is the head instructor at Alliance Key Biscayne, where he holds a black belt with the Alliance Jiu Jitsu team. He came up through the Alliance system and competed at the top level of the sport before turning his full attention to teaching. His classes follow the official Alliance curriculum, with a clear positional structure and heavy emphasis on fundamentals, and he coaches everyone from four-year-olds in their first class to purple belts refining guard retention and athletes preparing for world-level events. Araújo built the academy around a specific culture: respect for training partners, consistency over intensity, and a place where a whole family can train together.
