Mark A. Bradford is the owner and head instructor of Legacy Jiu-Jitsu West Adams in Los Angeles. He holds a 3rd-degree black belt under American Jiu-Jitsu pioneer and World Champion Alberto Crane and has 24 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, competing in numerous BJJ and MMA events. Bradford explored a range of martial arts before jiu-jitsu, including karate, aikido, hapkido and judo, and began taking grappling seriously in 2000. He opened his first academy in 2006 with the aim of teaching martial arts across the nation, and after returning home to Los Angeles he opened Legacy Jiu-Jitsu West Adams in October 2019. Among the black belts he has produced is Lulu Williams, the academy's head instructor, who holds a 1st-degree black belt under him.
