Maurício Ribeiro is the professor behind the Centro de Treinamento Maurício Ribeiro, where he teaches Jiu-Jitsu and leads the functional circuit classes. A black belt representing Soul Fighters and Tatu BJJ, his competition record listed by the academy includes an IBJJF World Championship title, four IBJJF International Master championships, two IBJJF South American championships, four CBJJ Brazilian championships and a CBJJ Brazilian No-Gi championship. The training centre runs Jiu-Jitsu classes for children from age three, for 8- to 15-year-olds and for adults over 16, along with no-gi sessions for youth and adults, boxing and functional training.
