Michael Sergi is the head instructor of Serg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Fitness in Savannah, Georgia. He has studied Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for more than two decades and earned his black belt under Marcio "Pe De Pano" Cruz, a UFC veteran, ADCC champion and multiple-time World and Pan American champion; the academy describes him as Cruz's first American black belt, and it is the first and only official association of Marcio Cruz. Sergi has competed in IBJJF tournaments since 2012, winning multiple gold medals including the Pan No-Gi Championship and the American Nationals No-Gi Championship, along with several pro and open events.
