Sensei Rodrigo Pagani is the founder and head of Curucuruland BJJ, a Jiu-Jitsu school and training camp located inside the Charles Darwin State Park in Rio de Janeiro state, where he has taught his system for more than 20 years and hosts visiting students from around the world. A 4th degree black belt, he has been teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 1999 and is the creator of the Curu-Curu Guard. As a competitor, Pagani fought at the World Championships in Brazil in 2002 and 2003 in the adult division, and his titles include three International Masters championships, four Brazilian National championships, a European championship and three Rio de Janeiro state championships. He also runs Curucuruland TV, a video-on-demand service presenting his system and three decades of work in the art, and gives seminars internationally.
