Rodrigo Clark

Professor Rodrigo Clark is the owner and head coach of Gracie Barra Santa Barbara and a 5th degree black belt under Master Carlos Gracie Jr. He began training in 1993 at age 15 under Jose Henrique Leão Teixeira and Helio "Soneca" Moreira in Rio de Janeiro. A few years later, while attending law school near the original Gracie Barra academy, he joined the Gracie Barra team and trained under Carlos Gracie Jr. alongside many of the best fighters in the sport. Clark has over 31 years of experience training and competing, with national and international titles that include seven medals at the World No-Gi Championship and three at the Pan American Championship. He moved to Santa Barbara in 2003 and opened Gracie Barra Santa Barbara a few months later, originally on Mason Street, and is an official Gracie Barra representative.
