Rogério Pinheiro de Goes
Rogério "Boy" Goes is the professor and founder of Blackwolf Escola de Jiu-Jitsu in Vila Santa Catarina, São Paulo. He first came into contact with Jiu-Jitsu in 2008 in the state of Bahia, where he trained with Mestre Orvile Neto of the De La Riva team, before moving back to São Paulo, his home state. There he met Mestre Daniel "Walid" Corrêa, then with the Checkmat team, under whom he remained until receiving his black belt. Goes's competitive record is mostly national: he has been São Paulo state champion, SP Open champion and Curitiba Open no-gi champion, was chosen as the best in São Paulo for three consecutive years at purple belt, and took second at the International Masters in Rio de Janeiro and third at the Brazilian Championship and BJJ Pro. His stated priority is the personal development of each student, on and off the mat.
