Tiago de Paula

Tiago De Paula is the founder and head coach of Tiago de Paula BJJ, which he established in Zürich in 2017 and which now runs two dojos, in Zürich and Thalwil. He started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2013 and received his black belt in 2022 under Carlson Gracie Zurich. Since then he has developed into a committed coach for both children and adults, described by his team as an open, motivating leader in the community who keeps learning himself. He encourages his students to stay the course and to keep developing on and off the mat, and teaches in English, Portuguese, Spanish and German.
