Vagner Rocha is the founder and head instructor of Vagner Rocha Martial Arts in Hollywood, Florida. Originally from Brazil and raised in South Florida, he has more than 20 years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is described by the academy as a world champion, a UFC veteran and an ADCC medalist who has competed at the ADCC World Championship for many years. Rocha remains an active competitor while running the academy, and he personally oversees the youth curriculum each week. His teaching stresses strong fundamentals, intelligent strategy and a mindset built on discipline, resilience and respect, and the academy has produced athletes who have succeeded at the highest levels of the sport.
