Weiss Sakhizada is the head instructor of Sucker Free Jiu Jitsu in Lindenhurst, New York, which he founded in 2017 with the aim of providing a clean, thoughtful, and inclusive training environment. He started jiu-jitsu in 2011 and spent his most formative years training under JT Torres, who awarded him his black belt; he currently trains under Zata Toscano. With more than a decade of teaching experience, his focus is on helping students build their own games while staying well-rounded. Sakhizada has competed successfully at brown and black belt, with a Pan American title and wins over black belt world champions. His results include the 2018 IBJJF No-Gi Pans championship at brown belt, silver at the 2025 and bronze at the 2024 IBJJF No-Gi Pans at black belt, eleven IBJJF New York Open titles, and multiple International Open championships across weight classes from light to open weight.
