Arise Martial Arts

Arise Martial Arts provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction and combat sports education at 4563 SW 71 Ave in Miami, Florida. Founded in July 2018, the family-operated academy delivers structured martial arts training for youth and adult practitioners throughout the Miami metropolitan area. The training organization is directed by academy owner Daniel Fundora, an IBJJF certified second-degree black belt who earned the 2017 IBJJF World Masters Championship. The coaching staff also includes black belt instructor Michelle Fundora, second-degree black belt and law enforcement veteran Professor Pagan, and Coach Val, an active tournament competitor who secured the 2024 IBJJF Master World Championship. Course offerings encompass Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, active tournament preparation with the academy competition team, Little Kids classes, Kids martial arts, and structured Teens instruction designed to build movement coordination and positional fundamentals, with introductory trial sessions available for new students.
