Brown’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brown's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is located at 1400 Grand Avenue in Columbus, Indiana. Established in 2016, the academy was founded by owner and head instructor Mike Brown to bring martial arts instruction to the community. Head instructor Mike Brown holds an IBJJF registered black belt earned under Professor Nick Pollaro. The coaching staff includes lead instructor Teancum Clark, who serves as a black belt under Mike Brown and Nick Pollaro. Lead instructor Brooke Isaac acts as a women's instructional specialist holding the rank of purple belt and teaches Tuesday no gi classes. The teaching staff also features instructor Joshua Long and coach Bill Shepard, who both assist with classes holding the rank of purple belt. Training options include an Adults Gi curriculum alongside weekly No Gi classes and a dedicated Women's Only class. The academy also runs a Kids Program designed for children ages 5 and up, where students train together as a team. Tuition is available through an $85 monthly membership provided on a month to month basis with no contracts.
